It's Opening Day!
I probably don't have Nick Manfredjinsinjin to thank for this but I'm going to thank him anyway. Thank you, New Commissioner, for any hand you had for allowing baseball, America's pastime, to start the season in -- wait for it -- AMERICA.
And thank you, mountain time zone, for shifting the games two hours earlier which means I might actually watch the end of games this season.
Everybody is high on the Tribe. Sports Illustrated put Kluber and Brantley on the cover. Me, I've read this issue before and it will end the same way it has for every other Cleveland franchise of the last 50 years. Probably. I mean, I guess there's hope. Now that baseball is here and the Indians have one of the better pitching staffs in the American League, I feel like anything can happen.
