Joe's Week 8 Locks & Week 7 Review

Joe's Week 8 Locks

New York Jets @ (+3) Cleveland. My Pick, Cleveland 24-23. For maybe the first (and only) time this season, the Browns have the QB edge. With McCown, somewhat, healthy this game could really go either way and I expect it to come down to whoever has the ball last. I'm already excited for next week when the Browns finally get Corey Coleman back and I can pick the to cover the spread again.
New England @ (+6.5) Buffalo. My Pick, New England 31-20. The Shady McCoy injury kills any chance Buffalo had at a sweep of their division rival. That and Brady is playing this time.
Kansas City @ (+2.5) Indianapolis. My Pick, Kansas City 23-20. This was the hardest pick of my five. I just have no confidence in the Colts against a good team. They hung on to beat the Titans last week and really struggled the rest of the season. I believe the Chiefs are better and their lack of mistakes will help them win in the 4th.
San Diego @ (-5.5) Denver. My Pick, San Diego 19-17. The Chargers, like they did at home earlier this season, jump out early on the Broncos and hang on to win late. The Broncos now without their leading rusher, CJ Anderson, for maybe the rest of the season will have to find more creative ways to score even though rookie RB Booker has looked good in limited action.
Minnesota @ (+6.5) Chicago. My Pick, Minnesota 27-13. This line should be more around 10. Unless Jay Cutler figured out how to play QB during the last few weeks, I think giving Chicago even 13 points is generous on my part. The Vikings were embarrassed last week by Philly and they will take out that frustration on the pitiful Bears this week.

Week 7 Review

Cleveland @ (-10) Cincinnati. My Pick, Cincinnati 29-20. What Happened, Cincinnati 31-17. Pryor was mainly a decoy and Kessler got knocked out early for the Browns, that combined with a Hail Mary and a 70 yard TD run from Jeremy Hill for the Bengals, and Cleveland still only lost by 14. The Browns defense was terrible but still, even with Kevin Hogan, the Browns felt like they would keep this under the 10 point spread. I remain optimistic.
Minnesota @ (+2.5) Philadelphia. My Pick, Minnesota 20-13. What Happened, Philadelphia 21-10. The Vikings were due for a clunker after a dominant start to the season. I'm still rooting against the Eagles every week this season. The Wentz Hall of Fame ceremony is temporarily on hold.
Oakland @ (-1) Jacksonville. My Pick, Oakland 33-27. What Happened, Oakland 33-16. The Raiders moved to 4-0 on the road, while the demise of the once promising Jags began to round in to full effect. The Jags also played last night and were DEMOLISHED by the Titans. They are, right at this moment, the worst team in the NFL.
Tampa Bay @ (+2) San Francisco. My Pick, Tampa Bay 34-20. What Happened, Tampa Bay 34-17. Winston to Evans is one of the most fun duos in the NFL right now. I think I'd take the Browns over the 49ers right now.
San Diego @ (-6.5) Atlanta. My Pick, Atlanta 38-36. What Happened, San Diego 33-30. So now all those games the Chargers were losing at the beginning of the season, they are winning. I really wouldn't want to play either of these teams moving forward.

Week 7 - 3-2
Overall - 16-20
