Mike's triumphant return with the Week 14 locks

Mike Miller returns from concussion protocol this week for a double dose of locks.

Back in Week 12, I went 4-1 bringing my season total to 34-26 (.567).

Yes, the Browns are 0-12. It's the worse season in the history of the franchise and there's been a lot of bad seasons in the history of this franchise. But you know what was even worse? Not having a team. I'll take 0-12 over DNP any day.

I mean, here we are talking football on a day when the Browns have been terrible.

You know what would be "so Browns"? It would be winning two of the final four meaningless games and losing the first overall draft pick then trade down with the 2nd pick again. Adding to the misery, we'd watch over the years as the 49ers' Myles Garrett turns into the NFL sack leader.

You know the last time the Browns won a game, Johnny Manziel was quarterback? As amazing as that stat line is, it will be even more mindblowing next October when the same fact holds true. What will happen first: Browns win a game or Manziel dies? It might be even money.

CIN (-5.5) @ CLE. I don't think this one will be close and I think the Bengals will put it away early. Now, that's my first thought. However, I hadn't considered that Mr. Griffin will be returning to the field for his second game over the last two years. So upon an additional consideration, yeah, he's returning too soon and will get hurt again. One sack and he'll be out. Cody, get your helmet.

PIT (-2.5) @ BUF. The Steelers haven't always looked good but in my selective memory of football history, they tend to win games like this.

DEN @ TEN (-1.5). The Broncos are a QB shy of a full deck.

WAS (-2.5) @ PHI. Let the freefall of the Eagles continue and watch the value of that 2017 increase each week. Imagine if the Browns could pull Garrett, Trubinsky and McCaffrey at the draft.

ARI @ MIA (+1.5). Dolphins are sticking around. Tannehill is at his peak. Cardinals are past theirs.

SD (+1.5) @ CAR. I don't understand why the Panthers haven't been winning. And I don't understand how the Chargers have been winning. I'm following that logic to pick the west coast team traveling for an east coast early game.

CHI @ DET (-7.5). Frankly, the Bears are worthless and the Lions do just enough. A strong big win would boost their credibility.

HOU @ IND (-6.5). In battle of QBs, Luck is a bit better than Brock. I think.

MIN (-3.5) @ JAC. Going with the Vikings because they tell me their defense is good. But I think this team is doomed.

NO @ TB (-2.5). I like the Saints at home where there is zero weather but you get him out on a real football field with 5 MPH wind and I don't think Brees gets enough on it.

ATL (-6.5) @ LA. I haven't looked at the standings recently because it's depressing but aren't the Falcons winning a bit this season? And doesn't Jeff Fisher suck? How has he been an NFL coach for this long? The only thing worse than the Browns being 0-12 is if they would hire Fisher someday. I don't fully trust people with mustaches. (hairyliphobia)

SEA @ GB (+3.5). Much like the Steelers, the Packers win these types of games.

DAL @ NYG (+3.5). Cowboys have been riding high, no doubt, and they're grudgingly fun to watch, I must admit, but surely they're bound to lose one of those games they should win. And the Giants are just enough of those types of bland, soulless, unlikeable teams to pull it off.
