Week 11 Picks

Miami @ Buffalo (-1.5)
Mike: BUF. Eeeeeash. Even the NFL Network wishes they didn't have to broadcast this game.
Joe: MIA. No reason, just to argue.
Final: Buffalo by 5. Maybe I missed it but I didn't see a shot of Tannehill's wife one damn time!?!? WTF?? (M)

Arizona @ Atlanta (-9.5)
Mike: AZ. On our drive back home from the office and daycare, Isaac spotted a car sporting four Redskins flags from the windows. "Some people around here really like the Redskins, I told him. "Do you remember what team I like?" "The Browns," he says. "And what team does Mom like?" "The.... Saints!" "Exactly! Now what team do you like?" He sits in silence and I watch him in the rearview mirror as he ponders this for the first time. Then, he has his answer. "The Cardinals!"
Joe: ATL. Still looking for the Cards offense. Maybe that's where Vick lands next season.
Final: ATL by 4. (J) Interestingly enough, the Cardinal is the state bird of Virginia.

Cleveland @ Dallas (-7.5)
Mike: DAL. Of course I'd be thrilled if Isaac chose to be a Browns fan but only, or especially, if the Browns' fortunes could turn. Changed my pick on Sunday morning. I have a feeling this won't be pretty for the young squad from the great north.
Joe: CLE. Typical Browns fashion of keeping it close but not able to win.
Final: DAL by 3. (J) There really are no winners. When's the 2013 draft?

Green Bay @ Detroit (+3.5)
Mike: GB. The Browns' team name isn't the most imaginative or appealing. On the other hand, you have the Green Bay Meatpackers. PETA does not approve.
Joe: DET. The Pack are banged up beyond belief but they'll still win in a shootout.
Final: GB by 4. (M)

Cincinnati @ Kansas City (+3.5)
Mike: CIN. Can you picture a time in the future when the Browns and Bengals contend year after year for the AFC North? If there was a sci-fi movie where this is happening and the Steelers and Ravens are perennially 4-14 teams (due to the future's 18 game schedule), would that movie be deemed too unrealistic? Is the scenario of Cleveland and Cincinnati becoming dominant too far fetched?
Joe: CIN. Don't let the prime time performance confuse you about the Chiefs, they're the 2nd worst team in the NFL.
Final: CIN by 22. (MJ).

New York Jets @ St Louis (-3.5)
Mike: STL. There should be a rule in all major sports -- a referendum, if you will -- that all cities will retain their team names and colors. For better or worse, the orange and brown colors, the lack of any recent success in team history, all stuck around in Cleveland. But the Colts should be in Baltimore, the Cardinals should be in St. Louis and the Jazz should be in New Orleans.
Joe: STL. Every week makes me happier we traded down and away from Sanchize.
Final: NYJ by 14.

Philadelphia @ Washington (-3.5)
Mike: WAS. Let's be honest. Would you rather have Michael Vick or Brandon Weeden in 2013? Let's put it another way. Which one will be out of football first? Maybe it's Vick. Meanwhile, Robert Griffin will be around til 2030.
Joe: WAS. The Nick Foles era officially begins....on the road....with a blowout.
Final: WAS by 25. (MJ)

Tampa Bay @ Carolina (+1.5)
Mike: TB. Nah, I don't see the Bucs making a playoff. There are too many other good NFC teams.
Joe: TB. Watch out for the Bucs sneaking in for the sixth playoff spot. For some reason they skipped the 5 year plan that the Browns have mastered.
Final: TB by 6. (MJ)

Jacksonville @ Houston (-15.5)
Mike: JAX. This reminds me of the quarters game at the fair, where the coins are just dangling over the edge and a well-placed quarter dropped just in the right spot will push over a fistful of change. So I'm dropping in my quarter.
Joe: HOU. Not sure how high this line would have had to be for me to pick the league worst Jags. 18? 21? 24?
Final: HOU by 6. (M)

New Orleans @ Oakland (+4.5)
Mike: OAK. Even if New Orleans earns a playoff spot, it will be a wildcard and they have no chance on the road. They'll have trouble playing anywhere there's dirt, humidity or any sort on non-sterile environment.
Joe: NO. Take the over in this one. WAY OVER.
Final: NO by 21. (J)

San Diego @ Denver (-7.5)
Mike: DEN. Denver by 8. Not a point more.
Joe: DEN. I want to take the fightin' Norvs but just can't on the road.
Final: DEN by 7.

Indianapolis @ New England (-9.5)
Mike: IND. I think we're approaching the time when Andrew Luck's team will rarely be an underdog and never by more than a touchdown.
Joe: IND. The Pats D is bad enough that this will finish a one score game, unless Aqib Talib brings his 9mm.
Final: NE by 35.

Baltimore @ Pittsburgh (-3.5)
Mike: BAL. If we rated our favorite teams from one to 32, these guys would be #31 and #32 on the list. This is a list we should do -- our official cheering chart. My list: 1) Cleveland; 2) New Orleans; 3) Washington; ...
Joe: BAL. The resurrection of Byron Leftwich??
Final: BAL by 3. (MJ)

Monday Night
Chicago @ San Francisco (-4.5)
Joe: SF. Even if Jason Campbell is the best backup QB in the league, he's still a backup against the best D in the NFL who will put on a show on Monday Night.
Mike: CHI. Your reason is exactly my reason, but substituting Colin Kaepernick's name for Campbell's.
Final: SF big. (J)

Joe: 8-6
Mike: 7-7
