Joe's 2013 NFL Predictions

There's no way I'm writing as much as my hot-air filled, long winded, much older brother.
Having said that, I disagree that the clean slate of a new season means nothing.
Unfortunately, the Browns' clean slate fits the rinse-wash-repeat cycle of the last decade. But Alas, I bring good tidings of great joy (I vaguely remember hearing that line somewhere) and positivity. The list of Browns coaches since 1999 is not impressive and while Chud isn't a big name, the names of his top assistants (Norv & Ray) give me the most encouragement I've felt in years. They will account for all the minute details allowing him the opportunity to be the opposite of Shurmer. In one of the biggest coups this side of Egypt, Pat Shurmer was given the reigns of an NFL team thanks to the good ole boy network and Mike Holmgren's jowl.
The point is, I guess, with an actual front office paired with actual coaches players could actually (gasp) improve over the season.
The Browns make 'the leap' this season.

In probably unrelated news, Bernie Kosar is releasing his own beer. Talk amongst yourselves.

AFC NORTH
Cincinnati 10-6
Baltimore 9-7
Cleveland 8-8
Pittsburgh 6-10

Pittsburgh will be terrible just like their flags they waive. Cincy will score a ton of points. Baltimore's luck will begin to wain. Cleveland will be 2014's playoff darling.

AFC EAST
New England 11-5
Miami 8-8
Buffalo 7-9
New York Jets 4-12

The Pats could win more because of the 6-0 they'll go in the division. I hope Clowney can handle the pressure of playing in green.

AFC SOUTH
Houston 11-5
Indianapolis 9-7
Tennessee 7-9
Jacksonville 2-14

And with the 1st selection of the 2014 NFL draft the Jacksonville Jaguars select Teddy Bridgewater.

AFC WEST
Denver 12-4
Kansas City 9-7
San Diego 5-11
Oakland 4-12

KC would like to thank the bottom of their division for their successful season. PEYTON MANNING!!!!!!!!!!!

NFC NORTH
Green Bay 11-5
Detroit 9-7
Minnesota 8-8
Chicago 7-9

Peterson  2200 yards rushing + Ponder  2200 yards passing   =  Losses

NFC EAST
Dallas 10-6
Washington 9-7
Philadelphia 9-7
New York Giants 8-8

Mediocre. Mediocre. Mediocre. Mediocre.

NFC WEST
Seattle 12-4
San Francisco 10-6
Arizona 8-8
St. Louis 7-9

Best division in football this year. Seattle is far from overrated & will roll 8-0 at home.

NFC SOUTH
Atlanta 10-6
New Orleans 10-6
Carolina 7-9
Tampa Bay 5-11

As mentioned by some national columnist, the Saints will be in eff-you mode all season and lead the league in scoring.

NFC ROY - Tavon Austin, St. Louis
AFC ROY - EJ Manuel, Buffalo

AFC Championship - Denver over Houston
NFC Championship - Seattle over Atlanta
Super Bowl - Denver over Seattle
