Indianapolis (-3.5) @ Tennessee
Joe: TEN. It's these weird Thursday night games that are never well played. Also, TMZ reporting on a TRich orgy. Also, I'm rooting against the Colts all season.
FINAL: Indianapolis 30-27. I'm really starting to hate the Colts and their terrible play then somehow coming back at the end of every game.
BONUS
Ohio State (-34.5) @ Indiana Hoosiers
M: IND. Mike hates Ohio State and the state of Ohio.
FINAL: Ohio State 60-35. Mike hasn't watched a college football game in years but gets this one. I may not have picked OSU had I known they were down 3 starting LBs. This was the most boring, uneventful 95 total point game in the history of football.
(For the record, I did watch most of the Alabama/Notre Dame championship game last year. I was on a flight and nothing else was on.)
Cleveland (+5.5) @ Cincinnati
FINAL: Cincinnati 41-20. This couldn't have started better and been more spot on with our predictions. Then being a Cleveland fan happened.
Atlanta (+1.5) @ Tampa Bay
J: TB. Crap-fest #1 of the day. Tampa has at least been getting better while Atlanta showed last week they have no heart left in this season.
FINAL: Tampa Bay 41-28. Yes, Atlanta has given up.
New York Jets (-1.5) @ Buffalo
FINAL: Buffalo 37-14. God, do I hate the Jets....
Detroit (-3.5) @ Pittsburgh
M: PIT. The Lions haven't won in Pittsburgh since 1955. I'm not betting against history.
FINAL: Pittsburgh 37-27. Almost as much as I hate the Steelers.
Washington
J: PHI. Sure, Philly hasn't won a home game in over a year but have you seen the (expletive) defense this year? They can't stop anyone. Hey Mike, are the (expletive) fans starting to grumble about RG3-6 at all or are they still behind him?
M: PHI. The Eagles look like a new team with Foles at QB. And RGriffinIII still isn't 100%, and I'm pretty sure he'll go his entire career without ever being 100%. I haven't heard any grumbling about him, to be honest. People still worship him in these here parts.
FINAL: Philadelphia 24-16. I had to have had this line wrong. Still would have been wins for us.
San Diego (-1.5) @ Miami
M: MIA. Bletch. Don't like this pick but it is Sandy Eggo going to Florida...
FINAL: Miami 20-16. Honestly don't know one this that happened from this game.
Baltimore
M: BAL. The oddsmakers evidently found somebody to step in for Sam Hurd.
FINAL: Chicago 23-20. I think this game just ended. Found the right line, the Ravens were actually the dogs and its another MM victory by that F*&#%^$*&# half point.
Oakland
FINAL: Oakland 28-23. This is the 3rd game I messed up the line. This week is not going well for Team Joe.
Arizona (-8.5) @ Jacksonville
J: ARI. Just in case you forgot, the Cardinals are 5-4. If the 49ers lose in New Orleans (they will), they will be tied in the NFC West at 6-4.
M: ARI. All hail Carson Palmer, the whiniest of all USC quarterbacks.
FINAL: Arizona 27-14. Quitting on the Bengals does not count as whining.
Minnesota (+12.5) @ Seattle
J: SEA. Percy Harvin is back which is just unfair for all the other teams. The one thing Seattle was missing was a big time playmaker and now they add one of the best in the NFL. He may not make a huge difference this week (I actually think he will against his old team) but over the last few weeks of the season he'll make the best team in the NFL that much better.
M: SEA. That sounded like actual serious analysis.
FINAL: Seattle 41-20. I take this super serious.
San Francisco
FINAL: New Orleans 23-20. Dreaded half point and my 4th wrong line.
Green Bay (+3.5) @ New York Giants
J: NYG. So Green Bay started 3 QBs in 20+ years (Favre, Rodgers, Flynn), now its been 3 in the last 3 weeks. They look absolutely Browns-esque without a HOF QB. Welcome to our world of sub-mediocrity. I hope they lose every game while Rodgers is out. It's so unfair to have great QB play for so long, why do you think I'm hating the Colts so much recently?
FINAL: New York Giants 27-14. Somehow the Giants will win the Super Bowl.
Kansas City (+7.5) @ Denver
J: DEN. Been picking KC all season but after seeing their offense the last 2 weeks, I don't see any way they keep up for 4 quarters in this one. KC kicks too many FGs and Denver just keeps scoring TDs.
M: DEN. The 9-0 Chiefs have been a mirage. They're such a fluke, that there's still a chance they will finish under .500.
FINAL: Denver 27-17. When you get up before 5:30, you don't watch much of the night games.
New England
M: CAR. Nope. This will be the game where Cam busts out on national TV. I plan on watching the first half.
FINAL: Carolina 24-20. Obviously even the refs are against me maintaining and winning a season of picks.
And that's 5 wrong lines written this week. We do this professionally.
Week 11 Results
Mike: 8-7
Joe: 7-8
Bonus OSU Pick - MIKE
