Mike's Week 3 Locks

Most of the games are easy picks. Winners this week will be NE, ARI, OAK, NYG, MIA, BAL, GB
CAR, TB, SEA, NYJ, DAL.

These are the hard ones to pick this week:
CLE (+9.5) @ MIA. CLE. I don't think the Browns will win -- how could they? -- but I'll pick on the optimistic side and say they won't get blown out. The defense is comprised of rookies, Cody Kessler is making his NFL debut and even the kicker is brand new. Only thing we recognize about this team is the color of the helmet. But Go Browns!
DEN (-3.5)@ CIN. DEN. Even with Trevor Siemien at the helm, Broncos have been looking good.
SD (+2.5) @ IND. SD. Now would be a good time to trade for the Colts' top pick.
PIT @ PHI (+3.5). PHI. The Battle of Wentzylvania.
ATL (+3.5) @ NO. ATL. The Falcons get the whip back on Monday Night. And cover the spread!

Last week:
BAL @ CLE (+5.5)
Reality: CLE covered the spread. So there's that. But the real story was seeing the Browns as a dominating, gleeful, envigorating team of energy and fulfilled promised -- for almost the entire first quarter. I knew when the blocked XP was returned for a touchdown, making the score 20-2 instead of 21-0, that it would be a loss for the Browns with that unforgiving, unforgivable special teams mistake as the deciding factor. I could have stopped watching and written down how it was going to end because it's been the same story forever.

KC (+0.5) @ HOU
Reality: HOU by 7. I'm officially off the KC and Buffalo trains.

SEA (-3.5) @ LA
Reality: LA 9-3. The Seahawks defense made the trip but the rest of the team didn't show.

GB (-0.5) @ MIN
Reality: MIN by 3. Bradford did enough in his Vikings debut while AP is lost for the year.

PHI (+2.5) @ CHI
Reality: PHI 29-14. I can't blame the Browns front office for this. I thought the Browns were better served trading down also and didn't think Wentz was worthy of the top pick. Time will tell but the first two weeks have looked pretty good for the Eagles pick. I've heard the dude is smart. Like, Ryan Fitzpatrick smart.

Week 2: 2-3
