Joe's Week 7 Locks & Week 6 Review

Joe's Week 7 Locks

Cleveland @ (-10) Cincinnati. My Pick, Cincinnati 29-20. This one will come in just under the spread as Marvin Lewis will have no intention to run up the score on his good buddy Hue Jackson. It may be a 14-17 point spread early in the 3rd quarter but black-and-blue Kessler will cover the spread in the 4th quarter. If Pryor doesn't play, you can't hold this against me.
Minnesota @ (+2.5) Philadelphia. My Pick, Minnesota 20-13. The Vikings defense is smothering and the bloom is beginning to wear off the rose that is Carson Wentz. Without Lane Johnson at tackle on the O-Line, Wentz will be under constant pressure and will suffer his first multiple interception game of his young career.
Oakland @ (-1) Jacksonville. My Pick, Oakland 33-27. I get the better team and a point, I'll take it. Oakland was embarrassed at home last week against the Chiefs and will take out their frustration on a not good Jaguar team.
Tampa Bay @ (+2) San Francisco. My Pick, Tampa Bay 34-20. The end is nearing in the Chip Kelly NFL era. Look for him at one of the national powers in the NCAA next offseason.
San Diego @ (-6.5) Atlanta. My Pick, Atlanta 38-36. Another 4th quarter collapse for the Chargers in this one. Philip Rivers is having a quietly great season but it's not enough to overcome their terrible defense.

Oh, looks like I'm taking 5 road teams. Awesome.

Week 6 Review

San Francisco @ (-7.5) Buffalo. My Pick, Buffalo 23-21. What Happened, Buffalo 45-16. The opening statement of the case of Kelly-Kaepernick trial was a resounding failure. Don't look now but the Bills are a playoff team. Pittsburgh @ (+7.5) Miami. My Pick, Pittsburgh 38-17. What Happened, Miami 30-15. South Beach strikes again. It's never a good sign when your middle linebacker is puking multiple times during the game. Dallas @ (-4.5) Green Bay. My Pick, Green Bay 27-17. What Happened, Dallas 30-16. Apparently Zeke Elliot can run on anyone and Dak Prescott is the second coming of Jesus. New York Jets @ (-7.5) Arizona. My Pick, Arizona 31-20. What Happened, Arizona 28-3. I should have picked David Johnson with my #1 pick. Stupid Steelers. Somehow I'm picking the Jets straight up against the Ravens this week. No bias. Cleveland @ (-7) Tennessee. My Pick, Tennessee 20-17. What Happened, Tennessee 28-26. The week of the 2 point conversion controversy is finally over. While I would have preferred Coach Hue to wait to go for 2, it sure seemed like they had a good chance to convert when Kessler rolled out. Maybe just throw it to Pryor every down.
Week 6 - 2-3

Season Record - 13-18
