Thursday Night Football:
NY Jets @ New England (-9.5)
Mike: NE. The rivalry between these two teams has been as lopsided as CLE-Pit. Well, almost.
Joe: NE. I laugh at every Jets loss.
Final: NE by 2, surviving with a blocked FG as time expired. That was the only play of the game I got to watch.

Sunday Games:
CIN @ IND (-3.5)
Mike: IND. Cincy is dealing with injuries and the burden of having Andy Dalton.
Joe: IND. Making picks while golfing at Wilkshire in Bolivar. It's under 50 degrees and I'm 5 over thru 7 with a birdie. Not bad starting bogey-double-bogey.
Final: IND 27-0. But still, you started bogey-double-bogey.

TEN @ WASH (-5.5)
Mike: WASH. This is the last chance for the Redskins to turn the bus around.
Joe: WAS. Charlie Whitehurst is not the answer unless asked who's the worst QB in AFC.
Final: WASH by 2. Never underestimate the willpower of Colt McCoy.

MIA @ CHI (-3.5)
Mike: CHI. Warm weather teams generally don't do well by the Great Lakes.
Joe: CHI. 3 putt bogey... DAMNIT!!
Final: MIA by 13. We really don't know much about football. Or golf.

CLE (-5.5) @ JAX
Mike: CLE. Oh Lord. I feel really uncomfortable with this trend of Cleveland being the favorite.
Joe: CLE. 2 blowouts in a row.
Final: JAX by 18. We were both right.

SEA (-6.5) @ STL
Mike: SEA. I think the Seahawks will be playing pissed, and will thrash the Rams to make a statement.
Joe: SEA. This will be more than a TD spread.
Final: STL by 2. In our defense, not even Jeff Fisher was predicting a win.

CAR @ GB (-6.5)
Mike: CAR. Should be a close exciting game. Cam Newton continues to grow.
Joe: GB. And a scald from 85 yards out on 9 leads to another bogey & a disappointing round of 43.
Final: GB by 21. What's worse. Listening to stories about your golf or your fantasy team.

ATL @ BAL (-6.5)
Mike: BAL. As somebody once said, I'm off the A Train.
Joe: BAL. I'm still off Atlanta.
Final: BAL by 22. Well this sucks. Ravens are going to win the division by 3 games.

MIN @ BUF (-5.5)
Mike: MIN. The Bills should be giving points to nobody.
Joe: BUF. The Vikings are a bottom 5 team.
Final: BUF by 1. So are the Bills.

NO @ DET (-2.5)
Mike: DET. If Calvin plays, Lions win. I'm afraid Saints are an 8-8 team.
Joe: NO. Saints won't get to 8-8 but they'll score enough to keep this close.
Final: DET by 1. Both teams are living disappointments.

KC @ SD (-4.5)
Mike: SD. In the long run, it won't matter for either one of these substandard AFC West teams.
Joe: SD. Disagree, the Chargers are one of top teams in AFC.
Final: KC by 3. This is shaping up to be our worst combined week in Mike vs Joe history.

NYG @ DAL (-7.5)
Mike: DAL. Blow Out. This'll sound crazy but this might be the year Romo quiets his critics and gets a Ring. Yeah. For real.
Joe: NYG. This is just the type of game the Cowboys blow.
Final: DAL by 10. Cowboys with another big divisional win coming up next week.

ARI (-3.5) @ OAK
Mike: OAK. I hope the Rams go back to LA and the Cardinals go back to StL.
Joe: ARI. Oakland keeps getting worse.
Final: ARI by 11. Yeah, you're actually right this time.

SF @ DEN (-6.5)
Mike: DEN. Walking thru the mall last night, with hundreds of Broncos items in every store, it reminded me of the days when I hated Denver more than I ever hated even Pittsburgh. I never imagined, nor would have ever believed I would someday live here. Crazy. I don't hate this place anymore, 30 years later, but I still hope the Broncos lose every playoff game forever.
Joe: SF. Gimme those points.
Final: DEN by 25. You're gonna need a bigger spread.

Monday Night:
HOU @ PIT (-3.5)
Mike: HOU. Texans will show Pittsburgh what a defense is supposed to look like for the 2nd week in a row.
Joe: HOU. Suck it, Pittsburgh!!!
Final: PIT by 7.
