Mike's Week 2 Locks

So, that Robert Griffin experiment was fun. The signing was a risk but it's not like they spent a draft pick acquiring him. And that's what this team is about -- draft picks. Nobody builds a team centered around the accumulation of draft picks better than Cleveland. And sarcasm aside, the Browns might have a greater chance of beating Baltimore with slow and steady McCown at the helm. What scares me is the defense. A young team is going to be tentative and taken advantage of by a veteran quarterback like Flacco. Look for Nassib to get a lick on the overpaid Ratbird and knock him out of the game.

BAL @ CLE (+5.5): Cleveland. Are the Browns really this bad? I don't think so. But we'll find out in this first matchup vs a divisional opponent.
KC (+0.5) @ HOU. Kansas City. The Chiefs fell behind early in Week One before mounting a historic comeback win. I think they'll have enough to secure another undeserved win.
SEA (-3.5) @ LA. Seattle. The Seahawks will be patient and win this one with defensive points.
GB (-0.5) @ MIN. Green Bay. Losing Bridgewater will cost the Vikings the season.
PHI (+2.5) @ CHI. Philadelphia. Wentz looked pretty good last week while the Bears are really among the worst teams in the NFL.

Last weeks review:
BUF (+3) @ BAL. I chose Buffalo. Close game but wrong.
CIN (-1.5) @ NYJ. I went with Cincinnati. Wrong. Jets covered on the one point loss.
NYG (pk) @ DAL. Giants. Winner. New York squeaks out single point victory.
DET @ IND (-3.5). Colts. Wrong again. Lions win opener on the road, of course in a dome.
CLE (+4) @ PHI. I went with the Browns. Evidently, one rookie quarterback is better than eight rookie defenders.

I finish 1-4 picking against the spread in Week 1.
