Week 2 Review - Thursday Prediction
Haven't we been through enough? The way I look at this season so far with the Browns is -- what's next? In two weeks they've lost 2 QBs, their best defensive lineman in rookie Nassib, a 1st round pick center (who isn't good), and a breakout star in Corey Coleman. This is beyond amazing to me. They managed to stay perfectly healthy through the pointless preseason, which never happens, and now they way things are going I'll be surprised if Clipboard Jesus Charlie Whitehurst isn't starting next week.I'm still interested in seeing Cody Kessler play. I don't expect more than 13 points in Miami against a veteran defensive line who might rip his leg off, but from everything that comes out of the Browns locker room, except from the terribly negative media, they remain upbeat and on point with the new coaching staff and their message.
I love the speed the defense is playing with and the way they fly around. They are just too young and inexperienced to keep teams down for an entire game. I think they cover the ridiculous spread this Sunday. Who knows, they way the things go for this city and this team they might just win.
(I'm not talking about the finish to last weeks game. The taunting call to me is up on the list near the helmet throw for terrible finishes.)
Week 2 Pick Review
Baltimore @ (+5.5) Cleveland. My Pick - Baltimore 27-24. What Happened - Baltimore 25-20. This hurt. This really hurt. Just ask McCown. But the pick was right!!Indianapolis @ (-6.5) Denver. My Pick - Denver 24-17. What Happened - Denver 34-20. I still don't believe in Denver like last year. I do believe the Colts will have a top 5 pick.
Week 2 - 3-3
Season - 3-9
